A simple rectangular cushion bed on an orthopaedic foam base, with a washable cover that comes off completely.
Low sides run along three edges with a shallow raised back, and the front is left open and low, so a dog steps in rather than climbing over a rim. The sleeping surface inside is flat rather than dished, which suits dogs that sleep stretched out. It is also an easy shape to move between rooms, or to keep a spare cover for.
The green colourway is panelled rather than plain — olive, sage and cream sections with a finer ribbed panel across the front, and grey piping around the top edge.
Available in Medium, Large and XL, in grey and light green.
We are confirming the exact centimetre dimensions for each size with the manufacturer before publishing them. We would rather leave a gap here than print a number we have not checked — a wrong dimension is how a bed ends up going back.
Measure your dog lying stretched out on their side, nose to the base of the tail — not the tip. Add 15cm if they curl up, 30cm if they stretch out.
The front rim on this bed is low, but it is not a flat mattress. If your dog is stiff or elderly and you want the lowest possible step-in, look at The Flat or The Loft as well.

The shape

The simple shape does not mean a simple base. It is a supportive foam slab rather than loose fill — the same reason the rest of the orthopaedic range holds its shape past the second month.

Our method
A listing that gives the outside of the bed is giving you a number that includes the bolster, which your dog cannot lie on.
We publish the external footprint in centimetres and tell you where the rim eats into it. We are measuring the internal area and will publish it as it is confirmed.
Plain language
Anyone can print the word on a bag of polyester fill.
We publish what each bed is made of rather than just the word. We don’t claim a bed treats anything — that’s a question for your vet.
What we don’t know yet
We are collecting verified figures with test reports from our manufacturers.
Until a figure is evidenced we will not print it. An unsupported number is worth less than an honest gap.

Thirty days from delivery to change your mind, on an unused bed in its packaging — you cover the return freight, which on a bed this bulky is usually $25 to $60.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, that is different: we cover everything, freight included. Your consumer guarantees under Australian law apply whatever this or any other page says.
Because we have not verified them with the manufacturer. Every bed here that has confirmed centimetres shows them; this one does not yet. A wrong dimension is the single most common reason a bed goes back, so the gap stays until the figures are checked.
