The Perch — Elevated Cat Hammock

A round mesh hammock stretched over a raised frame. The mesh sits clear of the floor, so air moves underneath it.

That airflow is what makes this a summer bed. A cat lying on a padded bed in an Australian summer is lying on insulation; a cat lying on suspended mesh is not. It also keeps them off a floor that may be damp or dusty, which is why the same design turns up on verandahs.

Available in grey, pink and blue, with or without a hanging feather toy.

Bed surface is approximately 45 × 20cm. We are confirming the frame height with the manufacturer before publishing it.

Before you order

Mesh suits cats that lie flat. Cats that knead heavily or that like to burrow into something soft tend to prefer a padded bed, and may ignore this one entirely.

If you have a cat that scratches at bedding, check the mesh regularly — a snagged panel loses tension and stops sitting flat.
